Day two of the insanely heavy and thunderous Black Earth Festival brings no less than six bands to dB’s. Come & enjoy the vibe, the people, the Rammenas food and the music.
Headliners, American sludger maniacs Fistula will be teaming up again with italian Grime for another run of insanely heavy and sludgy dates in Europe.
We are stoked about the fact that their only appearance in The Netherlands will be at Black Earth festival in Utrecht.
Don’t miss this chance to be musically devastated and physically defeated by their crushing sets !!!
Also shows by Dirt Forge & Bethmoora from Denmark, and Surya & Prisa Mata from the UK.
For descriptions see below:
Fistula (sludgecore – USA)
Impossible to categorize, combining elements of remedial sludge, hardcore and a proverbial “bad case of the Mondays.” Two decades of ear bleeding, Fistula remain the miserable kings of sludgecore.
Grime (sludge metal – Italy)
Their sound is rooted in rotten burial ground and their songs are the sound of a decaying swamp filled with trash. Their slow and heavy groove is filthy and vicious, guitar riffs are sharp and covered with rust, drums and bass hit with the unstoppable power of a mud avalanche.
Dirt Forge (sludge – Denmark)
This band does a great job of combining hardcore elements with sludgy heaviness and Sabbath style riffs.
Sūrya (sludge/post-metal – UK)
Their music is a mix of heaviness and subtle sonic landscapes, ugliness and beauty. Earth, Water, Air and Fire – all in it’s eternal dance of creation and destruction. Sūrya is about bringing light through understanding the darkness.
Bethmoora (sludge/doom – Denmark)
From the darkest depths of Copenhagen comes the sludgy doom monster that is Bethmoora. Huge riffs, bludgeoning rhythm with seriously disturbing vocals. If you like your doom from the dark side, this is for you.
Prisa Mata (stoner/doom – UK)
This power trio will bring you big fuzzy riffs, humongous grooves and pulverizing bass frequencies.
